The first question many people have to answer is whether to buy or rent. Our opinion is that if the candidate is just starting to learn piano and have no idea whether or not he/she is going to like or continue the study. Then a short term rental from the local company might be the best choice as short term trial study during summer or winter might prove to be just SHORT TERM. For people are committed or are seriously considering long term study, the purchase option would prove economically sound. For people with limited funds, some dealers might offer rent to purchase option so people can utilize limited funds to start with the rental and gradually build up their equity position in the piano with a lower purchase price later on.
